The Namibian Government plans to launch an RFP for the development of Green Hydrogen and the use of the molecules for local industrial valorisation. This document highlights the key considerations for the relevant site in the South of Namibia, located in the Southern Corridor Development Initiative (SCDI). Given the ongoing development of this industry thus far in the southern corridor specifically, this RFP will offer plug in to the common user infrastructure (CUI’s) which is envisioned to be developed in this region. Potential bidders are encouraged to support the Government with views on green hydrogen valorisation within the industrial complex, ideally located within a future specified Special Economic Zone (SEZ), in the Southern Corridor.
